Course Content
The General Safety Training Course is relative to the type of work performed or exposures common to a specific industry. Sessions may include the following topics:
Slips, Trips, and Falls- Safe Lifting
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Safety Equipment
- Ergonomics
- Scaffolding
- Trenching and Excavation
- Fall Protection
- Hazard Communication
- Machine Guarding
- Electrical / Lockout Tagout
- Safety Culture / General Safety Awareness
- Chainsaw Safety
- Defensive Driving
- Bloodborne Pathogens
In addition to the list of items above, we can provide training on most occupational health and safety related topics. If you have interest in a particular topic, please contact us.
Course Length
Plan to allow an adequate amount of time for your course depending on the number of topics covered in a session. General Safety Training usually lasts approximately 30 minutes per topic covered. We understand that time is valuable and all classes will be conducted as efficiently as possible.

KEMI Loss Education and Safety may conduct courses in most workplace settings with advance notice.
Cost
General Safety Training is provided by KEMI exclusively to policyholders. There is no cost for this training.
