Zach Boggs is a native of Hazard, Kentucky, and brings to KEMI a wide range of occupational safety experience in manufacturing, heavy equipment operations, logging and other areas of general industry.
Prior to joining KEMI’s Loss Education team, Zach served as a safety director in the automotive manufacturing industry and had the opportunity to manage all aspects of a successful safety and health program. Zach has been responsible for the development and implementation of a variety of successful compliance based programs including lockout/tag-out, hazard communications, powered industrial trucks, and confined space entry.
Zach received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire and Safety Engineering from Eastern Kentucky University, and has completed courses at the Caterpillar Equipment Technical College.
Zach is an Authorized OSHA 10 and 30 hour trainer in General Industry Standards, as well as a certified CPR/AED and First Aid instructor through the American Safety & Health Institute. Additionally, Zach is a certified powered industrial truck trainer through the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and holds the Master Logger Designation through the Kentucky Division of Forestry.
